It is Surface Transforms’ objective to be a World-Class supplier of lightweight high energy
dissipating friction system materials used in automotive brake systems, and lightweight hightemperature resistant materials, serving the world’s original equipment manufacturers and
their aftermarket where applicable.
To achieve this, we are committed to:
• Understanding customer requirements and providing customers with products that meet
requirements,
• Continual, measurable improvement of the effectiveness of our QMS,
• Training employees to support Continual Improvement,
• Empowering employees to use and develop necessary competencies and tools,
• Identifying and implementing applicable statutory and regulatory requirements,
• Maintaining a management system compliant to relevant International Standards and
requirements of applicable parties,
• Setting and reviewing quality objectives to meet our business goals,
• Maintaining operations that protect the environment and natural resources, and
• Providing a safe environment for our employees and visitors.
• Promoting a risk based approach to strategic thinking, management of opportunities and
mitigation of identified risk.
Achievement of the Quality Policy
To ensure that this Quality Policy is understood, implemented and maintained throughout
the Company, the CEO, Directors and Management Representative undertake that:
• The awareness of all staff of this Quality Policy will be ensured through training and
access to the Quality Manual and relevant procedures and instructions.
• Quality Standards are clearly defined to the greatest practical extent, and they are
consistently and efficiently achieved.
• The company’s technical and commercial expertise is co-ordinated to ensure effective
corrective and preventive actions in response to observed or reported Quality issues.
• Customers’ technical and commercial requirements are obtained and understood.
• Sub-contractors and suppliers of products and services have a full understanding of our
requirements.
